Restaurant - Table Orders

The Restaurant (Table Orders) feature allows you to view the number of tables in your restaurant and take table orders directly through the MBH App. By enabling Guest Details for Table Ordering under Store Settings, you can capture the customers name and headcount. Orders can be added, modified, discounted, split, and closed seamlessly, ensuring smoother table service and accurate tracking of staff and customer activity.

Open the My Business Hub (MBH) App.

• Tap the hamburger icon (☰) in the top-left corner.
• Select Restaurant.

When you select a table (e.g., Table 1), you’ll be prompted to enter a guest name and guest count (if the Guest Details for Table Ordering option is enabled under Store Settings). After clicking Order Now, the menu will appear, and you can select items to add to the cart.

Click the cart icon in the top-right corner to view the basket. The basket displays the table number, number of items, and total amount. Items can be reassigned to different seats to simplify split payments.

• Open Item – Add a custom item not listed in the menu with a price.
• Modifier – Add a temporary modifier with a name and price.
• Discount – Apply a discount manually via coupon code, discount price, or percentage. If no coupons are available, a “No coupons available” message will display.
• Sauces – Appears only if sauces are part of your menu setup.
• Comments – Add customer notes (e.g., allergens or preferences).

After confirming, click OK to save.

Once items are added, click Send to place the order. A pop-up will prompt you to select the staff member taking the order (Staff Selection must be enabled under Features > Staff). The table will then turn green, indicating it is occupied.

You can reopen the table to add more items and click Send again.

To complete the order, open the table, go to the cart, and tap Pay.

You can accept full payments or split payments using this feature.

When paying, customers can add tips (0%, 10%, 15%, 20%, or custom amount/percentage). For the tip option to appear, it must be enabled in Store Settings.

Payment Methods:

• Cash – Accept cash payments.
• Card – Accept card payments.
• Tap to Pay – Make a payment using NFC tap (Adyen Signup Required)
• Split by Amount - Add multiple splits. Payments are divided equally or can be edited manually.
• Split by Seat - Separate receipts based on items that were added for each seat.
• Split by Item - Separate receipts based on items that were added to the table order.
• QR Code – Scan to pay or print a QR for payment.

Pay by Link Options:

• SMS – Send a payment link via SMS.
• Email – Send a payment link via email.
• WhatsApp – Share a payment link via WhatsApp.
• Social Media & Chats – Share via other messaging apps.
• Edit Details – Resend the payment link to a different number or email.

Once the bill is settled, the table turns amber, showing it requires cleaning. Once the table has been cleaned, select the table and confirm to mark it as available.
