Datman is Foodhub’s official online payment partner, securely managing all card transactions made through Foodhub, to ensure funds are transferred safely from your customers’ payments into your account.
The Online Banking option in The MyTakeaway App links directly to the Datman platform, where you can manage your account.
Foodhub uses Datman to ensure payments are handled in a secure, compliant, and consistent way across all regions.

Datman is a core part of Foodhub’s payment infrastructure, chosen for reliability and transparency.
Transaction Fees
- UK & Ireland: 3.4% + £0.20 per transaction
- United States: 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction
- Australia & New Zealand: 3.4% + 20¢ per transaction
Other Fees
- Setup Fee: A one-time hardware setup fee (based on your contract).
- Weekly Rental: Rental fees charged weekly to your Datman account, as agreed in your signed contract.
- Settlement Timing: Online transactions are credited every Tuesday before 17:00 BST.
Important: Your Datman account must be fully verified for settlements to be processed.
Example:
For a £20 order:
- The MyTakeaway App shows £20 (gross order value).
- Datman settles £19.30 after deducting 3.4% + 20p.
This fee does not go to Foodhub — it covers the cost of using the secure payment network.
- Open The MyTakeaway App on your smartphone.
- Tap the ☰ Menu in the top-left corner.
- Select Online Banking.
- You will be redirected to the Datman App download page — available on both Android and iOS.
- Once downloaded, open the Datman App and log in with your merchant credentials.
- You can now view your balance, recent transactions, and payout reports directly in Datman.
If you have not yet signed up with Datman, you’ll need to complete registration first. Every Foodhub client must have an active Datman account to receive online payments.
Datman releases funds within three to five business days after the customer pays online.
This period allows for:
- Payment authorisation and fraud checks
- Bank processing cycles
- Final settlement and release to your account
If you believe a payment is delayed:
- Confirm your Merchant ID (MID) is active.
- Check your last settlement date in Datman.
- If it’s been more than five business days, contact Datman Support for help.
