How to Change the Price of Menu Items in the My Takeaway App

1. Open the My Takeaway app on your smartphone.
2. Tap the “Hamburger” menu (≡).
3. Select Menu.
4. Select Categories to view your menu structure.
5. Tap the category and subcategory where the item is listed.
6. Locate the item whose price you want to change.
7. In the Price field, update the current price to the new value.
8. Tap Save to confirm.

Result: The new price is applied instantly and shown to customers on web, app, and in EPOS.

Best Practice: Double-check your entry before saving — the system does not track previous prices.

• Real-time updates
  Customers and staff see the new price as soon as you save. No restart is required.
• Wrong price entered?
  Simply re-edit the item, update the price, and save again.
• Different sizes
  If you want to offer multiple price points (e.g., Small, Medium, Large), use item modifiers instead. (See: How to Add Modifiers to Items).
• Delivery vs. collection
  Item prices are the same for all order types. To adjust costs, use service fees or discounts instead.
• Temporary promotions
  Use the Promotions feature for discounts or offers, rather than changing the base price.

• No scheduling
  Price changes cannot be scheduled for a future date. Update manually on the day you want the change to take effect.
• No bulk changes
  Prices must be updated individually for each item.
• No history log
  The system does not keep a record of past prices. Only the latest saved value is shown.
