How to Manage Current Orders in the My Takeaway App

• Displays all new and active orders from multiple platforms in one dashboard.
• Categorises them into Delivery, Pickup, and In-Store.
• Notifies customers automatically via the Order Tracking Page, SMS, and Email.
• Provides actions such as Accept, Reject, Print, Cancel, Send SMS, Assign Drivers, and Complete Orders.
• Supports Pay by QR and Pay by Link for quick, flexible payments.

• Open the My Takeaway app on your smartphone.
• From the main dashboard, select Orders.
• Go to the Current tab to view incoming and active orders.

• Identify New Orders – Flashing orders indicate new, unaccepted orders requiring action.
• Accept Orders – Tap the order or swipe left to accept. Once accepted, full order details will display, including:
  • Delivery address (for delivery orders)
  • Customer name & contact
  • Order ID, number, and date/time
  • Ordered items and platform (e.g., Foodhub app, website)
  • Assigned staff member
  • Estimated completion time
  • Delivery directions (for delivery orders)

From here, you can:

• Print receipts for the kitchen or records.
• Send “Late Text” SMS if delayed (small charge applies).
• Cancel orders with a required reason.
• Request payment via Pay by Link or Pay by QR.
• Track Pay by Link status to confirm payment.
• Assign drivers for delivery orders.
• Ban a customer if necessary.
• Place test orders to practise using the order flow.

• Always action flashing orders promptly to avoid missed sales.
• Use Late Texts sparingly to keep customers informed during delays.
• Regularly use Test Orders to familiarise new staff with the process.
• Encourage Pay by QR for quicker, more secure payments.
